Please reduce the frequency of "Suggested for your Library"
I appreciate the "Suggested for your library" emails I receive. The problem is that I'm receiving them every day. Because they're so frequent, I don't usually bother to look at them. IMHO I think that once a week would be enough.

I strongly agree that these emails should be reduced in frequency. The content is also poorly done. The suggestions given are not properly tailored to my library as the title would suggest. It does not exclusively recommend unowned resources, so it is a waste of time clicking through the suggested resources to see if I may already own them or not. I don't even open these emails anymore.Mark Allison said:I appreciate the "Suggested for your library" emails I receive. The problem is that I'm receiving them every day. I don't want to unsubscribe. I just want to receive the emails less frequently.

Previously someone suggested that Logos implement another selection in the emails page where you can request a weekly consolidated email rather than individual emails throughout the week. I thought that was a reasonable request, and have seen it on other services.

I am in total agreement. I will never understand the mind of marketing people who seem to have no ability at grasping what is a healthy balance in messaging. Every store seems to bomb you with daily emails after making a purchase that results in me having to unsubscribe completely. The sad thing is if they sent me a monthly email it would keep the store in my mind without being so intrusive that I actually develop a negative reaction to them. Just about everyone feels they get too many sales messages, I suspect. Logos you should seriously consider slowing it down or give an option to make messages less frequent. I don't want something from anyone on a near daily basis. Please don't basically force us to unsubscribe as you are only hurting your own potential sales by overdoing it. Help us help you!

Go to your login on the main Logos website and click on E-mail lists:
From what I gather, the emails that most bother people are the "marketing emails". There is pretty much nothing to be done about these marketing emails regarding which ones one would like to receive or how often. That makes it an "all or nothing" decision. Personally, I have opted for "all", but that doesn't mean I'll shy away from asking for improvement in this area.

Well said! I actually don't mind Logos doing this - although if there were a weekly option I might choose it - but the only retailers and others I've done business with from which I unsubscribe are the ones that go daily with the emails. Logos happens to be the one company I don't mind doing that, but how can any retail store seriously think they aren't annoying the hands that feed them?
