This is in the desktop version but I assume the video player is available elsewhere.
I am used to watching videos in Youtube where there are many controls. Many for the keyboard. I guess I am spoiled.
The Logos video player has minimal controls and they have minimal functionality. And it seems optimized for mouseketeers. You can change playback speed but you are limited to 1x, 1.4x, 2x, and .75x. No captions. Left-right arrows do not move the timeline forward or backward - they navigate to an adjacent video. You have to drag the timeline with the mouse with no preview. For videos designed for learning, better video navigation is needed so you can easily and efficiently rewind and watch segments again. [edit: captions . you can follow along in the book but captions would be nice.]
I'd like to see the video player modernized and more standard with other, popular, video players (eg, Youtube).
If that is not possible, could a "Youtube" button be added to play the video in Youtube. The video would not need to be designated as public.
