Hi there

I'm trying to edit a sermon document on my android phone but can only seem to view it.  I've restarted the phone and still only view mode.  Is there anything else I need to do? Does edit require a certain version of Android perhaps?

Thanks

Paul

Editing sermons on mobile devices only works on tablets - iPad or Android - not phones. On phones, we can only view them.

Yup, but worth mentioning, it works a treat on my OnePlus Open (and presumably other Android foldables). I know they describe the inner screen as a tablet, but it's at the smaller end with unusual dimensions, so I wasn't sure what to expect.

looking at the comparison I used when I was considering, it simple says Sermon Builder Android: http://www.logos.com/configure/subscriptions

They could improve that, and I think they ought to. But Android is very fragmented (laptops, watches, TVs, phones and tablets), and I would be inclined to investigate if my device was supported first. But I do think mobile phones are still the "default" platform and it was a totally understandable assumption. I knew the feature was on iPads but not iPhones, so I just assumed they meant tablets, I think.

it’s also complicated by the fact as Graham highlights herehttps://community.logos.com/forums/p/226431/1323842.aspx#1323842 that Logos use mobile to mean tablet and phone interchangeably. at the end of the day, I’m not too worried about it because my main mobile device is an iPad.

Related to this, is there a way to view a sermon on a tablet in "Read Only" mode, as it is on a phone, and as it was prior to the edit function becoming available recently on Android?

I have been using the Sermon Builder on my Android tablet while preaching, rather than in Preaching Mode, as I like to be able to open cross references etc, but now that it's automatically in Edit mode by default on my tablet, there is a real danger of messing things up as I tap when I'm preaching.

    Thanks in anticipation.
