Retaining HL/Notes Indicators in a Layout - Please Vote

I'm asking for Highlights/Notes indicators settings to be saved with a Layout.
For example, if I turn a particular Highlight indicator (for this example let's call it 'Grace in the Gospels') on in my ESV bible and save that in a Layout, then later open the ESV outside the saved layout and turn Grace in the Gospels off, it is now off everywhere. If I reopen the saved layout, it should open with Grace in the Gospels turned ON, but it does not...the last setting in the book/bible is retained.
This prevents us from saving layouts with certain settings made to easily go back to a particular study or task that was Highlight- or Note-centric (unless we go back and manually reset all the indicator check boxes).
