Steven:
Is this reproducible? Has it always happend with Beta 10? Do you the Windows version that might be syncing with the Mac version?
Every time I try to log in, it happens. I haven't been able to use it since I downloaded the Beta 10 version for Logos 4. Yes! I believe that, it has been syncing my Mac with my PC as well, but I haven't had problems with it before when I synced both computers. Is that a problem now? May I ask is even normal to do it that way?
Could you reproduce again. With the logs posted we only really need are the items in the Logging folder for Logos 4 (As described in the instructions on how to take logs) except for the nlog.config, and the Console Message.log.
I have a logs folder and I see the Console message log but I'm not seeing a logos 4 log or an index log when I click on my logs folder. All I see is the following:
/Logs/Sync/
/NTR/
For future reference, the video here tells you step by step what you need to do to get logs. http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6731.aspx
Below is the location some of the logs are in. You were able to extract the Console Messages.log so I don't need to explain how to get that.
I understand that now because of the visual aid you sent me but in the video there are at least 4 steps missing when it explains to people who have never done this before. I would greatly appreciate it if you would begin your steps at the beginning of the process. I could have save a lot of time if I had known about the 4 steps that is missing in the video. For example the places folder, the library folder, Application folder, and Logos 4 folder is not mention in the video. The video presentation begins at the logging folder, this gives the assumption that people know where to start and they don't. The problem that I was having is this, there's another Logs folder and this can be confusing for someone who's unfamiliar with Macs and for those who are first time users. That minor adjustment I believe will help you and the users from being frustrated because of a minor miss communication. Thank you, I'll try sending it again.
Here are those logs thanks again. Please disregard the nlog.config file.

I ask for your forgiveness because of the mistake that I believe I made at beginning of the process because of my confusion when I first installed this. Instead of docking the logging folder in Logos 4, I docked the logs folder to my dock, so that's why you received my logs folder information instead of my logging file information for Logos 4. Because of my error and my ignorance, I didn't know the difference between logs folder and logging folder, I assumed it was the same because you needed my logs . I only knew of the logs folder. I think by making a distinction between the two others won't make the same mistake as I did. Just a suggestion, again thanks.
Don't worry about the logs at this point. Cameron already posted a case for your bug using the Console Messages.log file you sent earlier. I'll review the Logging thread and add images to the post where the instructions are described.
Thanks so much you guys are doing a wonderful job and I appreciate your patience with me.

You make a good point Stephen and perhaps the Logos team should have a look at the instructions afresh in view of the number of new users who will be coming aboard due to the change in status to Beta and even the soon to be release version.
In defence of the video - it was made for those who were testing through the Alpha process and who were fairly warned to steer well clear if they didn't want to be fiddling with the inner workings of their machines.
But, as you point out - times have changed and the video probably needs to reflect that we are now attracting users rather than pioneers.
I hope things get sorted out for you now they have all the info.
Thanks I have confidence in you guys. In reference to the video, I believe that the video is great, I have nothing against it. But I remember that you guys wanted our feedback to help make things better. My intention is to help in the process to make things better, I'm only suggesting information that I gathered from my own experiences that I may assist you in making a better product. Keep up the good work.
Tommy I don't know if this helps but I've noticed that the Logos 4 icon that displays at the top of the screen doesn't remain, it flashes then goes away. Should it remain, while I'm logged in or not?
What part of the Logging instructions are confusing? Both the video and written. I want to know so I can make them better.
I learned that there's a difference between the Logs folder vs the Logging folder for Logos 4. In the Library folder for Macs it has a Logs folder, I made a mistake by adding the Logs folder which is located in the Library folder to my docs instead of going to the Application Support folder, then to the Logos 4 folder, then to the logging folder to add my logging information. So as you probably know I sent the wrong information, because I thought that the Logs folder in the Library folder was the same as the Logging folder in the Logos 4 Logging folder. These are two different logging folders, they both contain logs, but they also have different logging information within them. I was confused when I looked in the Logs folder to find that the Logos 4 log, the index log, and the SyncClientErrors log were missing. The truth is they were never there to begin with, because I was looking in the wrong folder. I suggest a distinction be made between the two to prevent people like me from making that same mistake. I hope this is helpful. Thanks again.
