New or Revised additions to commentary sets.

Many commentary sets are incomplete and/or get revisized editions.
Is there a way one can be notified when new book additions or updated books are added to commentary sets that one owns?

I check the pre-pub page each day:
This way you can secure a discount or at least decide if the discount is sufficient. Personally I find Zondervan pre-pub discounts miserly and I prefer to wait for a sale.

I don’t do revisions unless it’s a super bargain. Publishers should focus on finishing sets instead of revising existing ones! For example, PNTC has had more volumes revised than new ones come out.

I like your attitude.

I also sometimes find the revision get a much poorer review than the original.

I agree. Plus, by the time a revision comes out or a new edition to a non-commentary resource the price has, in MHO increased dramatically. I have enough commentaries as is.
I'm reading a couple of biographies/background stuff on Spurgeon. As most of us know, he had about 12,000 books in his library. Of course, many weren't commentaries but I'm sure he had lots. With my hard copies and my Logos books I have over 12,000. I don't need newer, fresher stuff. Besides a lot of the revisions that I "thought" I would get, didn't add a lot of new info.
Case in point. I bought Louis Brighton's commentary on Revelation in the Concordia Commentary series. I bought it in 2014 fore $32.21. It is now listed at $61.74. Which is $85.90 Canadian. Prices have sure gone up.
I don't need to get greedy with more books, I just need to redirect those funds towards more golf balls, maybe another Vokey wedge or two and a few more gloves. However, winter seems to be right around the corner here in the Canadian prairies, so I'll sock that cash away and enjoy what I already have.
mm.

I have wondered this before too. Thank you all for the tips.
