Dynamic Toolbar
I am operating on Mac OS, and always have the latest updates. I have updated to Logos 37.2. However, my toolbar has not changed. I see no sign of the new "dynamic toolbar." Is this not yet active for Mac users? If it is active for Mac users, does anyone have any idea what I have to do to make the new dynamic toolbar become active? I have been using Logos for 30+ years, and have been using it for several hours a day for the last several years, so this is a significant issue for me. Thanks ahead of time for your help!

It's part of the subscription strategy. You seem not to have a subscription?

If you want to see what it looks like you can view it on the web app.

I would highly recommend that anyone who is contemplating a subscription, spend a good amount of time with the Web App prior to committing....That way they would be able to see if the Dynamic Toolbar would work for them.

No thank you. I still haven't figured how to get a book in the top space. And the bottom very obviously doesn't compact gracefully. This is not for us newbies to app. logos.com
BTW it still doesn't know I might already own Logos (or Verbum). Every time...

The web app <can> be viewed on a phone, but really isn't meant to do so. It works pretty well on an iPad.
Ah ... exactly. The vaunted subscription menu is a large-screen design ... only.

Is there a way to switch off dynamic toolbar. I really don't like it as it adds more clicks thatn before. It feels like "toolbar for dummies" series. Where there used to be a toggle icon only, now we have a word and an icon, but it's not toggle. So I need to click again to get to a toggle button under, asking for a mouse move as well. And let me not even mention the infamous "Locator Button".

No, there are not multiple options for the dynamic toolbar. The need for toggles has been acknowledge by Logos. What do you mean by "locator button"?? The navigation box hasn't changed if that is what you mean.

I wasn't specific enough, under View: >_Locator bar option. Since it has no other options to customize but works like a regulat on/off toggle, it should be on the right side by Zoom & Full screen options, as a simple icon. Not sure if this is all driven by their mobile app where there is no "hover text" so they decided to explain every single button, but I would prefer icons only with hover text with description. Or at least offer both via settings. All new users gett the new dynamic toolbar, advanced users who know the UI better can stick with icons only.
