The Speech Act Dataset uses a simple taxonomy of Speech-Act categories which has been rigorously established through linguistic research in the field of Pragmatics. This taxonomy is simplified in order to retain searchability.

Normally, your dataset documentation includes a reading list that allow me to know what particular flavor of linguistics you are following. This allows me to do a bit of reading to determine how to translate the vocabulary into the linguistics I happen to know. This time you gave me no hint at all. Whose rigorous establishment are you referring to?

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

This may be the last Saturday bump ... see you on the new forums - and I do hope this bump gets you a response.
