Does the word list always work from Greek or Hebrew words, if you select an English Bible for the passage?

If so, is there are way to create a word list from the surface text (e.g. English)?

    You can create a Word List from surface text  via the option for selected text (or clipboard), but it can be quite dumb and include the space character.

    Thanks. That is helpful, even if not intuitive.

    It works when I copy text to the clipboard. But oddly, the word list includes footnote numbers as part of a word.

    When I tried selecting Bible text and creating a word list, I get the error message: "Text does not contain any usable word data."
