For now, every time I open a ressource for the first time, I go to "Layouts" > "1 Column" + "Show Footnotes".

Is there a possibility to make that the default setting (on Desktop / Web / Mobile) ?

not to the best of my knowledge

Did you mean View > Paged View in the new resource toolbar? I can't imagine that you open a new layout from the Layouts menu.

Below a screenshot from my german Verbum. After opening a new resource, I have to click three times to have the desired "Layout". Even when using the keyboard shortcut, I have to set the columns manually to "1".

Couldn't there be a customized default setting?

When you open books etc and setup a layout you can click the layout button and it will say Now just name and save it. The next time you open the save layout everything should be as it was the last time.

I think he's wanting defaults for opening a resource … not savinglloading the same book with settings. Normally (for some view settings), the app remembers last-use. But not in this case.
