Multiple Book Display and Marcus Aurelius

I confess a weak understanding of how to know whether two books will sync in, say, Multiple Book Display. If I understand correctly, the resources of the self-communings of Aurelius don't use a common reference system for me to accomplish this. But I'm not positive how I would confirm my notion. Can someone please enlighten me? Many thanks.

Its Information page will show you the Indexes it has. Volume/Page will not work with any other book, otherwise Aurelius must have an Index in common with the host book e.g. Bible, English Headwords.
