syncing up the layout to a bible verse

I have a layout I like to use. I am having a hard time getting all the open windows in the layout to sync to the bible verse I have selected. When I select the layout the bible verse is the original verse that was on the layout when I saved it. When I change to the bible verse I want now I can not get everything to sync to the verse. Can anyone help me understand how to do this?

Each panel has a picture of the resource.

If you click the tiny triangle next to the picture, you will see a dropdown dialog.

There are several link-set letters.

Can set panels to the same letter, and they will all scroll together.
