Bug: search in passage list

Does anyone know how to make a search work in a passage list? I press Ctrl-F and enter my search text, but nothing happens. The first few times I tried the search, the passage list was reduced to about a third, with no real rhyme or reason for its reduction (the passages listed did not all include my search word), but now nothing happens at all.

What are you trying to do? Are you trying to find a particular verse or a particular word that is displayed?
If you want the first one then do an Basic search on your whole library. The result will show up in the "My Content" section. If you want to search within the verses in a passage list, open up a search and limit the parameters to the entries in the passage list.
I don't know why the Ctrl+F isn't working in passage lists. It looks like a bug. I can't remember, though, if that's ever worked because I've never tried to use it before.

Thanks Kevin. I did not realize that you could use the passage lists as one of the parameters in doing a Bible search. The main reason I made the post was to point out a possible bug (I wasn't sure), but your answer makes it clear that Ctrl F does not need to work in passage lists. In fact, it should be removed from the menu.

Ken, you might want to edit the title of the post with the word Bug? to catch Melissa's attention.

OK. Done.

Find (Ctrl+F) in Passage Lists is meant to filter on references only, since you can already use the passage list as a filter in Search. However, filtering on references appears to be broken. I've reported this to development.
