Does anyone know if sentence diagramming will be part of the Oct 1 Mac release?

Nope. We haven't announced a date for any releases of the Mac version after the October 1st release.

Sentence diagramming, printing, and exporting are all part of L4.1 which I assume will be available in the Mac version eventually. My crystal ball is cloudy at the moment, so I can't predict a date for availability.

Yep - it's currently in Beta. I have been playing with it in a very basic way, but seems to work fine.

Suggest looking at Mac Beta forum => http://community.logos.com/forums/90.aspx - Beta versions have some crashes, issues, and improvements.
Wiki page has steps for reporting Bugs => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#How_to_Report_Bugs_in_Logos_4_Mac
Personally use Beta versions on Mac and PC - lots of stuff works on a daily basis - also have used steps for reporting bugs many times for over a year. Mac Alpha and Beta pre-releases were bit more crash prone than current Beta versions.

The current beta has problems with sentence diagramming (the subject of this thread) in that several elements are missing from the bottom of previously created diagrams. The elements are still there when viewed in L4 Win, so it must be a display problem.
Otherwise this beta is rather stable.
