Slow when working with large resources

I have reported about Logos hanging with simple tasks like taking Notes and Highlighting.

The resource I was working with is John Owen commentary on Hebrews.  Perhaps the slowness of Logos in those simple tasks is related to the size of this resource.

Logos 4 is not slow when working with Bibles - I guess that's because the Bible is indexed better and is processed by small chunks in Logos.  Therefore window/tab refreshing is faster.

Can the developer look into this to optimize refreshing of windows when working with large resources?

Logos has acknowledged that large articles in a resource can create performance problems. So they are looking into it. The answer is apt to entail both software and resource modifications.

Thanks, MJS. This helps. Last time I got no idea why such simple tasks would not work.
