Ongoing Indexing on Logos 4

Downloaded Logos 4 Mac to my Macbook two days ago.  After initial download and then indexing for about 7 hours, it proceeded to alternate between downloading updates and indexing for another 20 hours or so.  It never indexed all the way.  I finally quit late last night to give my computer a break after about 32 hours of this.  I didn't experience this long of a process on the PC side via Parallels last year.  Any thoughts?

Hi Robert,

Your experience doesn't sound typical.

However you will need to post your logs - see the second post in the forum - for the developers to help. Don't forget the Console Log.

In the meantime you might check that you have, in fact, downloaded the latest version of the software. We are now on the first of the 'Public Releases' from the sound of it you might be using the last of the Release Candidates. You can get the latest version from a link in the first post  in the forum.

Do you have a lot of layouts, notes, visual markers, etc attached to your Windows version?

You might try starting the program, going to preferences, turning off the internet and seeing if the program works without it.
