Concordia: The Lutheran Confessions
Does anyone have an idea when "Concordia: The Lutheran Confessions" will be available for the iphone / ipad? Also, I've searched and searched the logos products, but can't find the product URL -- can anyone help?
Thanks very much,
Brad

Brad, concordia has given the ok to make it available for
the iPhone so I have been told, so it is Logos processing time that we are
waiting on. that product is only available through concordia.

I would like to request Logos ready this resource for the iPad. I recently purchased the Logos version specifically to use on my iPad. Pretty disappointed when I found out it wasn't available. On the plus side, Luthers Works volume 69 made it to the iPad.

Yes Scott, I agree, Concordia has already approved the
Confessions for the Iphone some months ago. It really seems that some of the
more conservative works don't make it to the list very quickly, and to me that
is very sad. They can be approved by the publisher but it still takes months to
be readied for the Iphone.

I'm checking into this now. It's a little out of the ordinary because the resource was not sold by Logos, so it may have been missed by some of our normal processes.

Dave,
Thanks for checking on this. Concordia is one of the most important books for an LCMS Lutheran, and it is frustrating not to have it available. Your effort is much appreciated. I've noticed that it is not in the main catalog of Logos, but I have purchased it on CD via CPH publishing house.
Blessings,
Brad

We're talking about Concordia: The Lutheran Confessions, right? (Not some of the other publications that are available from Logos that have the words "Concordia" or "Lutheran Confessions" in it.) Cf. http://www.cph.org/p-11428-concordia-the-lutheran-confessions-a-readers-edition-of-the-book-of-concord-2nd-edition.aspx
If it's available from Logos, could you post the link for it? I tried searching for it on Logos' website, but could not find it. Thanks!

Hi Roger,
Yes, that is the correct book. You have to buy the CD-ROM version on the CPH web site: http://www.cph.org/p-2938-concordia-the-lutheran-confessions-on-cd-rom.aspx
At least right now, you can't buy it on the Logos web site...

It is strange that this particular resource does come on CD.
When I got mine, I seem to recall having to install it into Libronix 3 FIRST, then when it was accepted, open L4 and it would automagically update from the other resource file.
This resource is the newer "reader's edition", which came out just 5 years ago.
