4.1RC2: Entering link to note doesn't work correctly

I have a note open and want to include a reference to a resource such as a commentary and follow the steps below:

1. I select some text in the note that I want to "contain"  the link
2. with the resource open to the correct point I select the "Copy location as URL" option
3. I click in the hyperlink box in the note file and the note compacts leaving no option to insert the hyperlink

If I then expand the note again, the selection on the text has been lost and I need to select it again. At this point I can enter the hyperlink correctly.

I believe this has changed from earlier releases

I'll report this problem, but meanwhile, try it using similar steps in the order below:

1. With the resource open to the correct point, select the "Copy location as URL" option.
2. Select the text in the note to apply hyperlink.
3. Right-click into the Hyperlink box and paste the URL.

This may be by design. It is caused by the focus being removed from the note's content box when you click on the resource panel menu. Selecting the text after copying the URL makes the note active, enabling the rich text toolbar.
