New Studies in Biblical Theology

I suggest adding the New Studies in Biblical Theology Collection (NSBT) to Logos.
I'm currently reading "Shepherd after My own Heart: Pastoral traditions and leadership in the Bible" by Timothy Laniak and it's incredible. It's a one-of-a-kind biblical theology on shepherds and shepherding.
I'm not familiar with all the other titles in this series, but a brief look suggests there are others that are worth attention.
Titles in this series:
1 Possessed by God, David Peterson
2 God's Unfaithful Wife, Raymond C. Ortlund Jr
3 Jesus and the Logic of History, Paul W. Barnett
4 Hear, My Son, Daniel J. Estes
5 Original Sin, Henri Blocher
6 Now Choose Life, J. Gary Millar
7 Neither Poverty Nor Riches, Craig L. Blomberg
8 Slave of Christ, Murray J. Harris
9 Christ, our Righteousness, Mark A. Seifrid
10 Five Festal Garments, Barry G. Webb
11 Salvation to the Ends of the Earth, Andreas J. Kostenberger and Peter T. O'Brien
12 Now My Eyes Have Seen You, Robert S. Fyall
13 Thanksgiving, David W. Pao
14 From Every People and Nation, J. Daniel Hays
15 Dominion and Dynasty, Stephen G. Dempster
16 Hearing God's Words, Peter Adam
17 The Temple and the Church's Mission, G. K. Beale
18 The Cross from a Distance, Peter G. Bolt
19 Contagious Holiness, Craig L. Blomberg
20 Shepherds After My Own Heart, Timothy S. Laniak

I've got Salvation to the Ends of the Earth and Neither Poverty Nor Riches - both great books and I'd lve to be able to search them!

This certainly looks good and IVP is a publishing partner with Logos.
An email to email at IVpress dot com asking them to consider this might help, too.

It's a really terrific series. There was another request here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/2383/18062.aspx, but for some reason there doesn't appear much demand. I can't imagine why.

Excellent suggestion Robert. I am about to start reading

I has have one you don't have listed to read after that:
23. Sealed with an Oath: Covenant in God's unfolding purpose , Paul. R. Williamson
A quick search reveals there are now 25 titles in these series: http://www.thegospelcoalition.org/resources/nsbt

I can't speak for Ted either but think you are right Mark. Instead I'll just quote the man till he is able to confirm his thoughts in person.

Great use of parallelism in symbols: thumbs up, three starts, sing-a-song, and then cool guy on an island? Okay, the end part broke the parallelism, but heck, this is an informal forum, we can be relaxed here.
But if we synthesize all that into one statement, I would have to say that Ted really approves of the NSBT series on Logos, so much so that if he was to be stranded on an island with Logos, he would hope to at least have this series with him. Yep.

This is a great set, with great authors. Count me in. Make it happen Logos!!!

It looks as if a 26th volume is up for release in February. I guess the request from the origin of this thread is still under review?

Any word on whether IVP Press and Logos can make this happen? It's an awesome series.

Great series hope to see it in Logos.

Please, please, please PLEASE Logos get this series. I am considering Phd work in Biblical Theology and this would be a blessing to have in Logos.

The New Studies in Biblical Theology is a needed resource in Logos. I especially am partial to Beale's Temple and Peterson's Possessed (my doctoral dissertation dealt with holiness).

Yes I would buy this immediately.

Now at 28 volumes with the May '12 release of The God Who Makes Himself Known by W. Ross Blackburn. It looks like the series is producing 1 to 2 books per year. Still interested here!

I was in favor of this on the other thread and still am in favor of it. This is an excellent series and needs to be in Logos.

The only problem I can see with this coming out in a Logos edition is that I now own most of these volumes in paperback! Still, it would be good to see . . .
. . . BTW, I love that so many of the authors are Australians (or the works were originally presented as lectures in Australia)!

Welcome to the forums, Richard! [:)]
I have a number of books in the "dead tree variety" that I would like on Logos. If I REALLY can use the resource, I bite the bullet… otherwise I wait for a great sale.

Is this something Logos is actually working on. I love and hate these books!!!
I love them because of the sound biblical theology and insight.
I hate them because the font is SO SMALL!
My vote is YES! [Y][Y][Y][Y][Y][Y][Y][Y][Y][Y][Y][Y][Y]

Agreed! [Y]
The fact that we haven't seen anything major from IVP in a while---plus having ACCS disappear from the Logos catalog---makes me wonder if Logos and IVP are reworking their licensing deal.
I hope there would be a bunch on new stuff from IVP in Logos format soon:
New Studies in Biblical Theology , the return of ACCS, the BST Old Testament volumes, Ancient Christian Texts, the Ancient Christian Doctrine Series, the last 2 volumes in Dictionary of the Old Testament, a John Stott collection, and maybe even a way to subscribe to the Reformation Commentary on Scripture in Logos format.
But I want New Studies in Biblical Theology volumes the most.

Does anyone have any new news about this series being in Logos?

I have just written to Logos to ask about this series. I think it would be one of those Christian classics if it becomes available. Will keep the forum posted if I get a reply.

Bump. And for the record, [Y]!

I want this series too!

I have few of these in paperback. It will be very useful to have it in Logos to take advantage of its tagging and searching capability. I hope to have it here before the next Logos 7 upgrade.

bumpity, bump, bump- this actually has been requested numerous times over the years- its time to get it- sooner than later.
Get the publisher to let Faithlife put it in pre-pub- 6 months if it hits a certain target by that date- keep the offer alive if not pull it.
It will never be pulled [6]

At least we have one of the IVP Biblical Themes titles in Vyrso which proves its not a publisher problem.
see https://community.logos.com/forums/t/11003.aspx
https://vyrso.com/product/43818/the-message-of-the-church
So I hope this is the beginning of all these titles coming (at the very least into Vryso). There is such a demand for these that I cant understand why they have not been included yet.
