Discourse Grammar and its relationship to Chiasm

I am doing an intense study of Romans using of course Logos 4 resources and the Discourse Grammar from Dr. Steve Runge. I began to notice some similarites between how the grammar lays out the scriptural passages and how a passage would be diagrammed chiastically. Is this a relationship that is intended or did I just see a couple of instances where the two methods crossed over each other?
A fascinating topic would be to see a logos text that would analyze scripture using chiastic methods, does such a text exist even in paper?

by John Breckthere are a number of others but this is the only one I've read.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
