This morning an extra resource has been added to my library. However I have no idea what it is because I didn't add it! Seems to need another 3 hours of indexing as well! Anyway to find out what it was?

There were timelines that were available to Win L4 that did not download for Mac L4. This has been fixed and I suspect that perhaps this is what you are experiencing, but you should follow the above instructions to confirm.
I haven't had time to decipher the information on the link given and actually I don't think that I should have to.
I would have thought that some notification system, a web page, a pop up, something should be provided to give an indication as to what is being installed on our systems.
Is it really that hard to implement?
Logos uses Email, Facebook, Twitter - surely they could devise something that doesn't require a page full of instructions and a load of file checks.
I'm so new to this that I really shouldn't say anything, but isn't there a very simple solution to solve [most of] this problem, which seems to come up a lot: add a column to the library called 'download date', or something like that. The computer already has the information to put there; all that's needed is the column itself. And then we could sort by that column and easily find out what downloaded last. Would also make tagging new resources easier.
(Of course, this doesn't help if the download is an update of the software itself, nor does it help those who necessarily want to know what the update includes before it downloads.)
