Hermeneia: The Apostolic Tradiition File Discrepancies in New Collections

I was investigating an issue in another thread and found some discrepancies regarding this resource and the files included in the new Hermeneia/Continental collections just re-leased.
http://community.logos.com/forums/p/23884/177667.aspx#177667
In short when you read the resource description for this resource, it actually should be a three part resource: Commentary, Original Languages and Adaptions. This is confirmed by the three files existing on the Logos FTP server:
However it appears the 39 Volume Old Testament collection only includes the file for the Adaptations. And the 31 volume NT set and the 63 volume Complete Set only contain the file for the commentary.
None of the collections contain the file for the original languages portion and when I downloaded the file it is locked as can be seen when I opened it in L3.
In the screen shot above and the one below you can see the description for each of the three files which clearly states these three files make up the one resource.

Thank you for pointing this out. I ordered the complete Hermeneia set but I am missing the Apostolic Traditions Adaptations and Original Languages.

Brad I have e-mailed customer service about the issue, and will post back when I get a response.

Andrew, Great detective job.
This is what I get when I open Title page of Apostolic Traditions, Commentary Section; hyperlink to both
- Original Language Section
- Adaptations Section
Clicking on both the links yielded, Resource Unavailable:

Humor aside, i get the same result, but with a nice little marketing message:
So, Andrew, since you ordered both sets (lucky dog), you got adaptations, right? I'm with Lim and Brad, missing the two other than the commentary. And there is nothing in the product page (of either OT or NT) to suggest 3 parts, let alone which of the 3 parts you are/are not going to get.

I would think that one should get all three sections since its a single resource regardless of which set you purchased. At the moment no one is getting the third section of the resource. Logos does break new ground, but having the three sections of the one resource distributed differently doesn't make any sense at all other than it being an oversight. The screen shots below of the covers (third one is a mock up but representative of the other two).
The previously posted descriptions show they are simply three sections from the one resource, and the screen shot below with the commentary and traditions linked and working together further confirms. I think the original languages section would be similar to the adaptations but would be in Latin, Sahidic, Arabic and Ethiopic.
The commentary without access to the text it is commenting on, would make it not so useful (unless you had the print version).
Edit Note: the reverse situation for someone who purchased only the OT collection and ends up with the English text translations (adaptations) only makes even less sense.

Andrew, I would think you are right, that this is an oversight. Let us know if/when you hear back from customer service. Thanks for ferreting this out (no offense against ferrets, or other weasels).

Andrew,
It's actually translations of these four Original Language texts:

Hi Andrew,
All three resources of the Apostolic Traditon are on the 2.0 cd rom complete edition. So this must be an error in the downloading system. It *should* be corrected so that the download matches what is on the cd rom.

I have downloaded the third file but it is locked and so can only view the locked file in L3. Thanks Joan for confirming you have these as part of the v2 CD-ROM package.

I am also missing the Apostolic Adaptions and Original Languages. Do we have to call Logos support to receive this?

This seems to be an issue that only Customer Service can fix. I would call early on tomorrow; they have great support!

I have e-mailed them and referred them to this thread so hopefully that will get this fixed up for everyone but as Joan said it won't hurt to give them a call if you desire. Being in an international customer I'm hoping this will get it sorted out and I don't have to make a phone call to try and get this sorted out.

I'm looking forward to hearing the answer on this, too.

It was the night before Christmas and all was quite in the house....
So far its all quite from Customer Service on this problem.... (maybe they are caught up with MAC at the moment....). I'm off for the day now so maybe there'll be a response when I get home... I' think there's still a couple of working hours to go in the US to go, otherwise we'll have to wait and see what the Inbox delivers tomorrow on this issue.

We are aware of this issue and are working on an update that will restore the missing licenses for customers who have purchased one of these collections. I'm sorry, but I don't have an ETA for when the fix will be available yet.

Thank you, Bradley! *smile*
You and your colleagues at Logos Central certainly have an "interesting" life! Never boredom, eh?
But don't overdo it - you and your colleagues! Pace yourself. Most of us will understand that it takes time to accomplish great things - which Logos is certainly doing - for the Lord!
Peace to you!

Got it but it wouldn't come through at first, even after a few program restarts. In then end I had to sync licenses in L3 first, and then the L4 picked it up.

Just to confirm the previous posts: all customers who purchased any of these collections should have had their licenses updated to add the missing two books. If you are still missing them, please contact our Customer Service department at 800-875-6467 or customerservice@logos.com.
