I would suggest searching the media resources in your library for images of the wall and the temple. Not all of the images are tagged with verse or passage  references. I did a quick search for wall and returned 494 hits. Wall NEAR Nehemiah returns a map that shows the borders of the wall at the time of Nehemiah.

Hi Fred,Would you please tell  me the exact quotation you have used, and how you searched it, I am just looking  specific ,the location of the cities mentioned near Jerusalem and the incident, which took place ,how it looks like ,just I need a picture of it,

My suggestion would be to run a Passage Guide on this passage, and see what comes up under Biblical Places, Biblical Things, and Media Resources. Which pictures you get will depend on what you have in your library.

I misunderstood what you were looking for. If you are looking for the cities that are mentioned in that passage I would do the following:

    Open the Biblical Places Tool

Enter your passage (e.g. Nehemiah 12:27-47

You will see a drop down list of each of the cities that are mentioned. You can select them and review the map and dictionary information for each one.

You can also open the Biblical World map, and the press CTRL+F for find, and type in the cities on at a time. The map will zoom to the right location.

I want not only the map,but I want to see ,when he says to the left and to the right ,how they go to the goal.I mean if there is something like the picture ,which is shown how Nehemiah rebuilt the Wall,It is clear to see they have started rebuilding from Sheep gate and they ended up Sheep gate.

    Blessings in Christ.

You could try this to see to do an image search for Nehemiah

    #image ANDEQUALS Nehemiah

This is not necessarily specific for the passage but it will give images associated with Nehemiah

A minor variation on this approach it to instead use bible explorer it will give you access to people, places and things & media.  Its handy to have open along side you bible and study notes when doing general reading of the text without the need for the full passage guide.

There's a terrrific picture in the ESV Study Bible which shows exactly what you're looking for. I found it with:

(#image ANDEQUALS Nehemiah) AND (#image ANDEQUALS wall)

Just copy and paste the text below into a basic search of your entire library:

(#image ANDEQUALS Nehemiah) AND (#image ANDEQUALS (wall, Jerusalem))

The two maps you will be interested in are at Nehemiah 3:6. I found them using the search above.

I'm not Mark but I'll venture a guess that he didn't find the formula.

It comes from an understanding of Logos' use of boolean operators (OR, AND, ANDNOT, etc...) and trial and error with the search engine.

The wiki pages on searching must be studied to get you to the point of being able to do some of these items but Mark is one of the guys who "gets it".

I am grateful for Mark's expertise in the area.

    See: Search HELP for more.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.
