Is there any way to clone an entire syntax search?
Is there any way to copy elements in a syntax search to a different syntax search or to another place the same syntax search?
Hi Harry
I'm not aware of anyway to do this
There is limited ability to do this on single terms. If you right-click on the term there is a "copy" option in the context menu. If you then click on another term you get the 4 + signs appear to allow you to add new terms. If you right-click on one of the + signs you can paste the copied term onto it.
It doesn't seem to copy everything - in my test it didn't copy rules - but it is a start.
Others may know more.
Graham

That is certainly a help. Actually the rules are the part that I really want to reproduce. I liked the Logos 3 ability to set up Agreement and then draw lines to the affected words.
Thanks for pointing this out.

Start a new Syntax Query from the File menu. On the right hand side click a Query under the heading of Previous searches.
Uggh!. This appears to be yet another annoying bug.
Thanks. I thought of that idea as I was going to sleep last night. I can see it does not merely repeat the search, but it fills in the new syntax search form with the contents of a previous search. That is a big time saver.

This has been reported to development. Thank you.
