Are There Any Features of 4.1 That You find Exciting?
I'm just wondering if this release has anyone jumping up and down with excitement or is it more of a ho-hum for you? Of course, we are all grateful for what has been done by Logos but does it get your motor running?

Many Word users will love having smart tags back. Mobile users may enjoy Gestures. I'm loving having Sentence Diagramming back ... and oh I should mention that print / export feature... it'll probably make one or two excited....

Printing/export is the biggie for me--especially since you can use it to extract info from just about any window (resources with highlighting, verse lists, search results, Power Lookup results, text comparison).
(If I needed sentence diagramming, then I'd be excited about that, too, but I don't do much of that.)
Also, the updates to the Translation section in the Bible Word Study (Bible version is selectable on the fly, multiple sections can be added) are really useful.

I think they did a terrific job with Print/Export. I don't have a huge need for it myself, but I know it's been something many, many people have been wanting. I've beta tested it extensively and am quite impressed. There are still a few tweaks I'd like to see them do, but as a first version of a major feature, it is pretty nice.
Also I'm very pleased with text labels for the Shortcut Bar.
And a little improvement to a command on the panel menu has me very excited:
- "Copy location as: URL..." incorporates a more fine-grained page location.

I was in dire need of sentence diagramming and look forward to using it and making suggestions for improvement. The print function was one I really missed and needed. It is a home run. We went from not being able to print or export anything, to being able to do whatever we want (for all practical intents and purposes). I appreciate the fact that in this "fix" for printing...something many of us have complained about long and hard...logos exceeded our expectations.

I wish the printing/export worked in the library window...tried floating it, tried putting in new tab and there is no option to print it....would have been a great way to print what's in my library if it were there...strange it was not included....

Create a collection that includes all of your resources. To do so, open the collections window, click on "New", give it a name, and use this rule for your collection: rating:>=0
Then you can print/export the collection from the menu in the Collections window:
Of course, you may not want to print your whole collection (I don't), but I would use Collections to create a more limited resource list to print or export a bibliography.

Ref printing the Library
Logos doesn't have a way to put a date on a book when it is read (wish there was this option), so as I read a book I rate each one as a 5.
Now with being able to print/export my collections, if I use the rule rating:>=5 I can get a list of books I have read....Very nice....
I have already read over 30 books online this year and with my simple mind sometimes I forget if I have read some already at time.....

Another way to do this is using tagging. I add the tag FINISHED when I've read something. (I don't use READ, because that would find all my books that I'm READING and books that I've marked as TOREAD). Then when I want to see a list of the books I've read, I just type mytag:FINISHED. If you overload the star rating system the way you're doing, you'll have no way to distinguish between books you thought were really terrific and ones that were only good.
If you care about the date when you finished a book (sometimes it's neat to look back at what you were reading in a particular year and how your thoughts have developed since then), you could encode the date in the tag, like this: FINISHED:2010-10-06. That way you could even sort by tag and see all the books you'd finished listed in the order in which you'd finished them. If you do the dates this way YYYY-MM-DD, then the alphanumeric sorting algorithm works properly for chronological order.

You could add a tag to the book with the date in it. Maybe something like this: "Read: 2010-09-01", then it would sort in order when you clicked on the My Tags column in the Library.

Adding the date to the tag, gets my vote for suggestion of the day Todd! This method allows for the flexibility of subsequent re-reading and tracking of each time you have read it.

True - I've wanted printing capabilities like this for as long as I've been using Logos/Libronix/Logos. Tree-based printing is an essential feature in an application like this, and I'm delighted to see it implemented so well in 4.1. All of the export options also built into that feature are just icing on the cake. Well done!
