I was wondering if anyone knows how to export your sentence diagram into Microsoft Word. My logos 4.1 is not giving me the option to export to word. It only allows me to export to a XPS document. Any suggestions?
Heyward
I did it in L3. Just had to drag the cursor so that the whole diagram was selected. Cntrl+C, bring up Word document, then Cntrl+V into Word. It went in as a scalable image. I have not tried it in L4 yet.
I don't know of a way to export directly to Word from Logos. The easiest way that I found (just tried it) was to use Microsoft OneNote. If you have OneNote you can print the diagram into OneNote and then save it as a Word file from there. Also, there is a XPS to Word converter out there, but it is quite expensive.
I guess the confusion arises because you can select Print/Export for a resource, and you get options that are not there for sentence diagramming - Rich Text Format (for Word), Text Document, and Web Page (HTML). While RTF and Web pages could theoretically be an export target for sentence diagrams, it's a different challenge being diagrammatic in nature so I guess we can presume that is not implemented yet. Someone will chime in if I have this wrong!
You cannot export a sentence diagram to word, but you can select the enitre diagram by right clicking and choosing select all, then copy and paste into word document. What is pasted will be an image in you word document.
Thank you all very much. This is helpful
Copy works for Powerpoint as well - i used a diagram of hebrews 1:1-2 in my sermon today.
I like this version better than 3 as well - hooray!
