Repeatable Slow Performance - Elaborate OT Chronological Reading Plan - Mark Read

Created elaborate OT chronological reading plan - copied from Wiki http://wiki.logos.com/Reading_Plans
On iMac with 2.8 GHz i7, after clicking Mark Read over 4.5 minutes elapsed before Logos 4 Mac 4.0a SR-1 (4.10.4.6104) was responsive again - CPU usage hovered close to 100 % - real memory usage climbed over 500 MB.
Opened Logos 4 Mac to blank layout - using Blue Book shortcut, opened reading plan in a tab - clicked Today's passage - opened AV - scrolled down some in AV - clicked Mark Read - AV repositioned to Tomorrow's passage - spinning beach ball over 4.5 minutes before reading plan list update:
Attached Logos4.log file:
By way of comparison, PC 4.2 Beta 1 (4.20.4.6028) accomplished same task in a few seconds (usable option for now).
