Link Set Gets Stuck

When you open a Bible and then the TSK and set the link to A on both of them it works fine. The problem starts when you add another translation. You click link set to A on the new opened Bible and it doesn't switch to the Bible reference the others have. You go to the first Bible you opened click where the reference is and hit enter and it still won't change the reference in the new Bible opened. You have to actually retype the Bible reference and hit enter and then it finally changes the Bible reference on the second Bible you opened. I don't think it's supposed to work this way, but hey, I could be wrong. Anyone having the same experience?

FYI: I'm on a MacBook Pro iOS.

You didn't say if you're on the crazy-menu or not.

I'm on the un-subscribed. I open an ESV. Then a TSK. I link them with the 'A' link. Then I open CSB. It automatically picks up the ESV/TSK reference (without linking). That's on a MBP macOS (not iOS). But not latest Verbum (a couple days ago?).

But! If I'm using my big layout, and open another Bible, it completely ignores where I'm at (current window/pane/reference), and uses the layout's reference when saved (I think). If I link it to my focus'd pane, it ignores the other panes … I have to wiggle the other panes, else the new pane resets the other panes. It's a bit maddening.

So, I can't 'witness' to anything certain.

I am on Mac Beta and cannot duplicate this issues. Maybe some more details?

Here's an easier, shorter way to describe it and it will do the same.

    1. When I open the NKJV it puts it on the left side of my screen. The Bible's dynamic toolbar is on the "Home" section which is where the "Link Set" is found. My Bible reference on the NKJV is Romans 1:16
    2. Then I open the TSK and it opens it to the right side of my screen. The TSK dynamic toolbar is also on the "Home" section which is where the "Link Set" is found. The Bible reference showing on the TSK is James 1:22
    3. Now I click on the NKJV Link Set to A and then go to the TSK and click Link Set to A also, but they won't sync!
    4. If I click on the Bible reference where Romans 1:16 is found it highlights the box and then I hit enter, but the reference won't change on the TSK, it stays on James 1:22
    5. So what I do is, I click on the Bible reference Romans 1:16, erase it, retype it again and then hit enter and that's when the TSK updates to Romans 1:16 instead of staying stuck in James 1:22.
    6. After I do this, then things begin to work normally.

    Does this make sense?

By the way, it’s Macbook Pro (MacOS). I thought iOS applied to all Apple products 😁 I guess not. One iOS is for mobile, the other MacOS is for desktop and laptops. My laptop is the one doing that.
I think DMB nailed it. She’s experiencing the same.

When I open my second Bible, it is automatically opened to the passage of the other two panels. If I set the link to A it moves with the other two panels as expected. On a PC I can't recreate the problem. What else is opened that has a Bible reference that is the same as the reference to which the new Bible opened to? It sounds as if there is an implied link between them which should help you track down the problem.

Not on my Mac. I closed the program and started from scratch and it still does it.

This happens to me occasionally. If I scroll one of the original panels a verse or two away and back again, everything snapps in place.
