Why does Feedback - suggestions I assumed - request the information I would expect to be asked for on bug reports? What am I missing (besides a tag for forum / storefront software problems).

One of the few reasons I could think of would be to be able to identify whether feedback based on the view or interaction with the Forums can be tied to a particular OS (depending on how the user has some settings possibly) and more so what browser they are using…. Not sure I'd see the need to require that
