Happy Thanksgiving Day to my Fellow Canadians!
Blessings and Peace and Joy to my Fellow Logos Users! *smile*
Yesterday in Divine Service on Thanksgiving Sunday, my interest was piqued positively by a hymn! Yes, I WAS concentrating on worship -- with all my heart and soul ..... but I also thought of Logos resources.....
A hymn, I think, very common to many Christians of various denominations.
"Come, Ye Thankful People, Come" I noticed that it was written by Henry Alford. Tune: St. George's Windsor
Henry Alford! One of my most precious Logos Resources is my 3 volume "The Greek Testament," by Henry Alford.
Wonderful Resource! http://www.logos.com/products/details/4169
Then! I realised that I have an Henry Alford Pre-Pub "gathering" strength ... for which I am very eager! Please think about that pre-pub, Logosites! *smile* The Henry Alford Collection .... http://www.logos.com/products/prepub/details/6482
Of the myriad and myriad things I have to be thankful for (Especially Jesus Christ, my Lord and Saviour!) - I am thankful for Logos Bible Software and Resources -- along with great and small things -- family - wife - children - grandchildren - and as my Pastor put it in the sermon yesterday - even thankful for toilet paper! *smile*
Blessings to you all, and from other countries, please share with all of us your thoughts on your National Day of Thanksgiving.
