3 Notification issues: No emails on posts, yet, etc.
At least a handful of messages have been posted since I updated my notification preference to get emails, but I still don't have any.
Also, when I click the chime icon, I don't see any of my posts even though I've put several out today.
Finally, it seems to take a very long time to get notification status updated. Maybe I just don't like the design of the popup that is shown when I click the chime, but so often, my actions have no impact on what gets shown or how it gets shown.

Thanks for your response, Jason.
Yes, I have. That's what prompted me to say something. My settings are such that I have everything checked off for emails that I have popup notifications for. Yet, there are dozens of popup notifications that I have not been getting emails for.
Maybe it takes a while. I did finally get two emails. But there were several posts for which I have not gotten an email. I'm going to time this just for fun. :)

The notification email from ignited by your email took about 10 minutes.

Jason, I really appreciate your efforts here! I cannot imagine (well; I sort of can) dealing with so many inputs from people.
Let me add one more thing about notifications. If I read a post by entering it some other way other than using the chime icon, it is not marked as having been read. It seems as if the popup marks it as read based on what is clicked in the popup itself rather than whether the post is actually being read.

@Lew Worthington, have you navigated similar waters yourself in the past? :)

This is helpful! Notifications can be read/unread and posts can be read/unread. Additionally, all notifications can be marked as read at once (leaving all posts as read/unread until visited). This is a nice distinction.
