Which search syntax version in Help

When Logos 10 was rolled out, a fair amount of e-ink was e-spilled on the new search syntax. Most of the help pages do not explicitly identify — as far as I can tell — whether the search syntax is the old version or the new. I suppose there are two questions here:

1 - Is there a web page that compares the two versions of search syntax? My google searches ultimately ended in futility.

2 - Am I missing something and the applicable version is actually listed on the help web pages?

TIA

As far as I know, the help pages and support articles on the logos website reflect the Logos 10 syntax. It would be interesting to know if you find any where this is not the case.

Some of the dataset documentation resources do still show the older syntax

The wiki had old and new syntax pages. But you needn't worry to much about it as the system will convert the old syntax to the new if you use the old.

    Thanks Graham and MJ.

Regarding Graham's comment, I may have been conflating some info from the wiki pages with info from the help pages. I'll pay more attention to such details.

Regarding MJ's comment, I tried something suggested from an older wiki page and it didn't work (I expected it to be converted but it didn't for some reason), which is what inspired me to ask the questions. My experience was only a few days ago, but it was way, way longer in the past than my memory can bear, so I will pay more attention to such details better here, too.

I do remember playing with the Logos 10 syntax quite a bit when it was first launched. I know it was being touted as being easier, but I didn't think the old type was that hard. What is hard for me is trying not to confuse the two in my mind. That's one reason I would never try to learn Czech and Slovak at the same time. 😉

This does happen occasionally and should be reported as a bug
