Forum bug: "Permission Problem You need the Vanilla.Discussions.Edit permission to do that."

This evening, I made my first post with this new forum software, and then thought to edit it. I successfully made edits to the text, but then when I edited again to add additional tag, I got an error ("You need the Vanilla.Discussions.Edit permission to do that.") and the post has disappeared.

Can that be fixed? Should I repost it?

editing to add a tag led to the error

That is precisely what I was testing, and I could not reproduce the error at the same role.

Weird. I was able to add and then even remove a tag from my OP in this thread. I guess I'll repost my other message *shrug*

Thank you for posting this. Did you delete your post, Pete, or was it lost?

I attempted to edit and add a tag, save then failed with the above noted error, and trying to save again didn't work; so I canceled, and then it was gone.

I have confirmed that you have editing permissions (up to 24-hours from post day/time).

I am testing a few items further.

I've just tested a few scenarios (with help from @Frank Sauer, thank you very much!) and I was able to make edits at the "Member" role without any issues. Please do let me know if that problem persists, @Pete De Bonte.

Yes, as noted in my OP, editing text was functional, but editing to add a tag led to the error.
