Synchronization at exit takes long time

When exiting Logos (desktop), it takes a long time before the synchronization is finished. In the log, I am seeing time out errors. Is this normal behaviour?

When I complete my daily M'Cheyne 365 Bible reading plan (sets up for the next day), synchronization begins and the wheel keeps spinning. If I exit Logos, I get a window showing synchronization is still running. If I exit that I have to go into Task Manager and end the Logos task, otherwise Logos will not launch but remain on the startup splash screen. Doesn't happen every time but has happened numerous times.

This is a problem that has been reported, but not acknowledged by Logos yet. (I don't think) The good news is a reboot of my computer fixed the issue for me.

It has been mysteriously resolved for me by itself as well after a couple of days.

It just happened again. This time after doing a fair amount of searches, studies, and fact book look ups. I wonder if having a lot of notes in my primary Bible translation has anything to do with it? However, after adding quite a few notes during my morning daily reading, the syncing has stopped before I exit Logos.

It seems random. It happened to me last week. So much so, I lost 3 hours of work - it wouldn’t sync. This week, it is working fine.

@John Wells and @Christopher Randall - which operating systems are you experiencing this on?

Windows 11 Home, OS Build 26120.3360
Christopher, if you exit Logos and open Task Manager, then End Task for Logos. Open Logos and sync should be fine. At least that is my experience.

MacOS Newest one out. But like I said, this week it is working better. It was initially when the new version came out. Thanks @John Wells

I'm on Sequoia, and often have to force-quit Logos when rebooting because syncing is so slow.
