Bug?: Printing Problems with 4.2 beta

I am using Samsung ML-3470 I use the Properties blue link in the printing window to indicate that I want to print duplex. This works in all other applications but in Logos it prints only on one side of the page...
And I also noticed that the output is not aligned on the right side of the page.
Still more, If I add certain sections of a text the printing changes from double column to single.
Here you see that if I check a section to be printed I still need to check all subsections (daunting task) and that the preview has two columns. (Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers Second Series XIII)
Here I added subsection eight and suddenly all of the pages turn to a single column layout. This was confirmed by Dave Hooton in this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/24419.aspx
I tried printing with two columns (without 8) and the output changed to single column in the middle and stayed that way till the end of the printing for no apparent reason.

Thanks--I've reproduced this and reported it to development.

My question is why has printing become double column since 4.1?

It defaults to Paged View by design. If you want Single column, you have to click on Single in the Print/Export dialog.

Thanks Melissa - I didn't understand the Release Notes!

Printing did not attempt to convert the legacy table before paginating. This will be fixed in 4.2 Beta 3, with the column choosing behavior of printing more closely matching paginated view.
There may still be cases where adding a section with wide content will force a single column, per Known Issues in Beta 1 and 2 release notes.

Thanks Melissa but it still prints single sided though I indicate I want it to print duplex in the printer driver. As I said this only happens in Logos.

We're still looking into this part of your report.
Edit: I'm printing to a Dell 1815, and the duplexing works as expected. Do you have the latest Samsung driver installed?

Yes I have the latest driver. I played with it a bit. I was using an option in the driver that allows the duplex/simplex setting to be determined manually on the printer panel. That was probably the problem when I set duplex through the driver it worked once.
Unfortunately, ever since I did that Logos crashes every time the print/export window is opening. I attach a crash report.

I've submitted your crash log to development for review. This thread will be updated when there is more information.
Update: A possible fix will be included in Beta 7. After the update is released and installed on your computer, could you test this and let us know if the crash is resolved? Thanks.

I am having a problem with logos crashing when I open the print/export option. Any suggestions?
