Repeated Download of 61.9mb of Resources

I am running Logos 4 for Mac 4.0a SR-2 (4.10.4.6199). Logos keeps downloading and trying to install 61.9 MB of resources - every time I log in to Logos. This started before the last update, but I saw here in the forum that the update might solve the problem - didn't. Attached are log files. Thanks, Jeff

Try deleting these files and restart. (You'll need "Automatically Download Updates" and "Use Internet" set to Yes)

Sorry to say that there is no change - still in this update loop. When it asks me to install the update and I click OK, it automatically shuts down Logos, but does nothing else. Seems to me it used to restart Logos automatically and install the updates. Of course, I use both Mac and Windows versions, so I may be remembering Windows behavior.

As I responded to another user on another similar thread, we should have an update tomorrow that fixes this issue of repeated downloads.

Yesterday it downloaded something about 54 mb in size first, then got into the same 61.9 mb loop.

Would you mind posting your Indexer.log again now that the problem has gone away? I added some extra logging to see if we can tell why some users got into this loop in the first place.

I initially posted this on the 12th, but did not get a response from anyone. Could you please help me with it ?!!

I am really not tech savy at all. So, I am sorry if i've neglected to supply you with all you need to fix this problem. when ever I try to scroll, it delays then a colored spinning wheel appears and then it scrolls. Also I noticed that my links don't seem to be working properly either. Say i am reading a bible passage, and i have the comparison feature running, even though i have the link feature turned on, the comparison pane does not scroll along with the Bible passage pane.

Am I making any sense at all? I managed to attach my logs, I really hope you guys can help.832087.Archive.zip

There are some reported speed issues with scrolling, especially if you have a lot of panels linked. There are some performance improvements in 4.0b betas.

I can't say that I can reproduce the issue you're seeing. Could you give me an example of what bible you're linking. A screenshot (using Cmd+Shift+4) might help too.
