Original Language tools in the new MAX subscription

This is a question to someone already doing language studies using the new MAX subscription. What improvements are you seeing in language study? For example, the pie charts in the Bible Word Study in Logos 10 for Hebrew verbs includes all the stems together. However, the Hithpael, Hiphil, Hophal, have significantly different meanings than the Qal. Does the new subscription make it easier to generate pie charts with only one stem for the verb? Do you have examples of improvements in language studies that make the new subscription worth it?

As far as I know, there are not yet any new features that are exclusive to Max. The highest subscription includes lots of original language tools that are not in the lower tiers for new users but there are no changes for people who already owned Logos 10. As far as I can tell, original language study is not any different in the new subscription. During the beta period, they said there would be at launch but that didn't seem to materialize.

I decided to go with MAX subscription. So far, for quick reading original language. MAX is faster. I'm not seeing much difference yet with in depth original language study. However, I apparently got more recourses for this. Be advised if you don't get the same results, I'm using a gaming notebook (don't play games) with an i9 64GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and GeForce RTX. Note sure how this affects Logos, probably more when running other programs at the same time.

I did notice that MAX loaded more original language resources as well as more Semitic language and Latin resources.

No new OL tools for Max yet but looking forward to them. Hopefully when the do arrive, some of them will be part of the fallback license :-). But for the few dollars difference for Max I don't mind. I definitely like your laptop specs and everything should be fast. I'm running an i9 MacBook Pro with 32GB on a 2TB drive and mine is plenty fast. They have definitely made some software optimizations since it even runs well on my old Surface Pro 3 running the latest Windows 11 beta far beyond its lifetime with only 4GB of RAM.

Is there a thread for making suggestions on OL tools?

Under the forum "English Feedback" you can create a new suggestion and give it the tag "Features".

Is there a straightforward (without loading and screening data in a spreadsheet) way to differentiate between Hebrew verb stems in the Bible Word Study charts

Apparently, Morphology in Logos Bible Software (LBS) is contained in the books. BHS has 21 verb stems in its morphology because it includes Aramaic as well as Hebrew. NA28 has no stems in its morphology because it is Greek. So, the challenge is how to get Bible Word Study (BWS) charts for BHS to allow charting only one verb stem.
