When performing a simple search (i.e. - Love, All Bible Text, New Testament, Top Bibles) without any other windows open, the software shows 2.70 for the search time. However, it takes more than 20 seconds for anything to be displayed.
Since I am running on a brand new MacBookPro, with the fastest processor and 8 GB of RAM, I am expecting much better performance. in fact, before upgrading to 4.0b Beta 1, search times were much faster.
I have run "rebuild index" which has not made a difference.
