Copy and Paste Problem in Notes -- Match Destination Formatting (MAC)

For those OCD types like myself, there's a problem when pasting, say, a commentary quote into a note on a Bible passage. When I paste the text, it is in a different size and font from my personally written note. In order to get the same font size for the whole note, I need to select all, select a different font, then re-select the original font, then select a new font size, and re-select the original font size (selecting the original without selecting a different one first doesn't change the text). When I use Mac's paste using destination formatting (CMD + OPTION + SHIFT + V) nothing but a little diamond appears (◊).

I'm not sure if this is an issue in Windows. I use Mac.

Has anyone figured out a way to paste into notes with the same format without this cumbersome protocol?

    I am on a Mac. Can you give a little more info on exactly what you are running into here? Screenshots if possible.

    From what I understand, you are trying to copy from one Logos resource (a commentary) into a Logos Note and the formatting is not the same?

    I'm not personally running into this issue.
