Quick Links Disappearing in Forums

The Quick Links feature in the forums is helpful. I like access to the Advanced Search, My Posts, etc.
However, this feature is only available when viewing a particular thread,, not when viewing the forum summary of threads. In place of the Quick Links section, there is a list of "Recent Articles" section from "Word by Word." I would not call this a bug as much as a design weakness.
It would be great to have the Quick Links access when viewing a forum. As it is, I was fumbling around to find the Advanced Search, so I could find a particular thread.
Another suggestion is that there should be a filter to only search a particular forum. This would reduce a lot of irrelevant matches.
