Version 1.2.2 crashes Libronix when hovering over other references...
I just updated to ver.
1.2.2. I have Norman Geisler’s 4 vol. Systematic Theology. When I use any of the
vol. and if there is a reference to another vol. in it, hovering over it or
clicking the other vol. reference crashes Libronix (see above shot). Thank you for any help
suggested.

I can usually get Logos for Mac to crash at least once a day if I am using it pretty hard. Usually with no warning... over simple things like hovering over a link.

Hi Manny,
Are you able to reproduce this crash every time? If so, please follow the steps below to turn on logging and attach a log file to this thread:
- Quit Libronix.
- Open a Finder window and click on the Macintosh HD under Devices (the disc Libronix is installed on).
- Navigate to \Library\Application Support\Libronix DLS\Scripts.
- Double click 'EnableLogging'. Leave the Finder window open.
- Start Libronix and perform the steps that caused it to crash. After it crashes, do not reopen the program yet.
- In the Finder window, click on your Home directory under Places and navigate to ~\Library\Logs.
- Attach the "Libronix DLS.log" file that you'll find there.
- Turn off logging by going back to \Library\Application Support\Libronix DLS\Scripts and double clicking 'DisableLogging'.

Manny - do you happen to be running Snow Leopard by chance? I toying with upgrading to 1.2.2 but I am cautious when I see these kinds of things happening.

If your concern is about Snow Leopard effecting the stability of Logos, I can tell you it is no worse than it was running on Leopard. I crashed it yesterday while doing a bunch of studying... no explanation, though it did offer to send an error report to Apple, which I let it do.

Melissa - have you seen any pattern to users who are experiencing the 1.2.2 crashing? Does it seem to be MAC OS Related, Safari related etc? I running 1.2.1 and not having any crashing issues (it has only crashed once in a week) and I hate to introduce a scenario where I fix the font problem but the software crashes regularly. Do you think it wise to wait for the next minor release? How vast of a MAC User base is there to tell how extensive the problem might be?

The only pattern we've seen with crashing is with systems running Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger) and the Bible Speed Search.

Joe - why haven't you considered going back to 1.2.1? If you re-install from scratch - wouldn't you at least be able to return to the state when the crashes were few? Is that possible with Libronix? I'm asking because I don't know - I was wondering myself - if I do the upgrade and my system starts to crash - I thought I could un-install and start over and return to 1.2.1.
Any clues if that's do-able or not?

You can uninstall Libronix by dragging the application icon to Trash, then Empty Trash. If you use this method, and you have trouble reinstalling 1.2.1 or the crashes reoccur, you may need to uninstall completely, use the Libronix Uninstaller 1.8.app file in this support article: http://www.macbiblesoftware.com/support/articles/1002/. (Note: this file does not work in Mac OS X 10.6.) This will remove everything, so you would want to backup your Resources, Collections, and Workspaces before continuing.
Use the 1.2.1 update link in your web account order page to reinstall that version.
