Migration of data from Logos 3 on a PC to Logos 4 on a Mac

Iv'e been a very happy user of Logos since the 90s. I recently purchased the upgrade from Logos 3 to Logos 4. I've been on a MacBook pro for a few years and have been running Logos 3 in VMWare on Windows XP.

As you can guess after years of using Logos I have a substantial amount of data in my notes, prayer lists and highlighting that I don't want to loose.

Short of manually going from one end of the Bible to other and cutting and pasting (and highlighting again) from Logos 3 on XP to Logos 4 on the Mac side is there a way to migrate my data from Logos 3 on my PC side to Logos 4 on my Mac side?

Possibility: install Logos 4 in Windows XP (needs GB's of disk space - see http://www.logos.com/support/techfaq for Library sizes)

Wiki Page describes Import All => http://wiki.logos.com/Importing_from_LDLS3

Once verified Logos 4 PC has imported notes, prayer lists, and highlighting, use Sync Now to copy to Logos servers - arrows stop spinning after sync done.

In Logos 4 Mac, use Sync Now to copy from Logos servers - once arrows stop spinning, should have notes, prayer lists, highlighting, etc.

Not know about Import All command feasibility in Logos 4 Mac - Logos developers would know.

Yes. As long as you're the sole user of the software, you can install and use it on as many devices as you like.

Yes. I believe that while you're on Windows, you may also need to manually invoke some sort of import process, but I haven't followed the import feature very closely, so I'm not certain of that.

I don't have enough hard drive space in the VMWare for the Windows XP on my MacBook Pro. And Logos 4 won't ket me install to an external drive.

I'm biting the bullet and cut and pasting my notes and re-highlighting as I have spare time.

I must say that I really like the Mac version of Logos 4 now that it has most of the features that Logos 3 had on my XP side. Plus I'm finding the new refinements a joy to work with. Thank you Logos for the good running Mac version!

Option: shutdown VMWare - copy virtual disk image to external drive - move disk image to trash on internal drive - startup virtual machine (from external drive) - to Windows, still appears as C: drive - shutdown Windows XP - use VMWare to increase Virtual Disk drive size - start Windows XP - should be able to install Logos 4.

Once verify VMWare working with external drive, can empty trash - free up space on internal drive.
