When Reopening L4Mac, Only Main Windows reopen...

Any ideas out there?

When I reopen the Logos Bible Software after I have been studying with a floating window open (may have one resource in it or more...same thing happens), I only get the main window, no floating window(s) and the resources that were open in the floating window are now closed and have to be individually reopened.

Also, in the layout menu, unlike the PC version, you can't seem to save an "updated" layout view. When I attempted to open a previous layout that had both the main window and floating window opened when I had originally worked in that layout, it too opens with only the main window and not the floating window too.

Maybe this is just a bug, but I didn't find anyone else's post, so here's mine.

Also, in the Layout menu, unlike the PC version, you can't seem to save an "updated" layout view.

On Mac, can right click (or Ctrl+Click) named Layout, then click Update.

Loaded a saved Layout - opened a resource in floating panel - updated Layout (right click) - used Close All command - floating window closed - clicked named Layout - floating window opened along with rest of layout items.

We have not had this reported before; however, as we are not able to reproduce this behavior, we would need logs to be able to look into this for you. Instructions for posting logs can be found here.

Oops! I forgot that the update only comes up over on the "named" layouts (not the 'automatic' captures). So that problem should be resolved. Thank you.

When I get back to my Mac, I'll have to try this again and if I still have a problem, I'll upload the logs.

You were right about "Update' on "named" layouts...works...no problems there.

Now, when I change layouts and then reopen one that has a floating window...no problem...floating window reopens. The problem occurs when I close L4Mac and reopen the program, only the main window opens...no floating window. Can someone reproduce this, or is it just my system.

Using 4.0b Beta 1 unable to replicate - main and floating window open (in front of or behind main window - same position when quit Logos 4 Mac)

Wonder about Window menu ?

Observation: floating window title has name of open resource.
