Random select text stops working Android phone

When I am selecting text in a reading resource (book or bible), randomly the system will not allow selecting the text. I must restart my Android phone to allow selecting text. This is NOT consistent but happens regularly. For me that is about once or twice a day.

    Yes, that happens to me on occasion. I've reported it and, IIRC, have submitted log files related to it.

    I'm on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, and observe that after highlighting text, sometimes tapping on the highlight or tapping on a single word (without highlighting) will NOT bring up the Selection / Highlight menu.
