How Do I link Devotional references to Preferred (Send Links Here) Panel?

Notice Blue circles, I have the devotional and my preferred panel in the same linkset [F] and have the preferred panel set at the target for "send hyperlinks here"

But when I click on a reference in the devotional it opens a link to a web browser window. (see red circle)

I'm a 20-year user, and thought I knew the "tricks" of linksets and send here, but this is not intuitive to me.

My first guess is that the resource is an "Ebook" [automated links] rather than a "Logos Research Edition" [manual tagging], and the publisher hyperlinked to BibleGateway.com and there is no way to override these embedded links.

    I think the issue is with your devotional. It's an eBook and I guess the links were hard-coded into the source file. Good for kindle and ePub users, not really made for bible software.
