Nevermind….. I forgot that there is a lot of covering for Logos and its management in here….
I'm glad @Mark Barnes (Logos) doesn't stop programming to answer every question a customers sends him. I don't know any software company that would allow that to happen to their lead programmer.
Lead programmer? Stop programming? I never knew that was his position - everything I have seen or been told is that he is the Project/Product Manager for the Logos/Verbum applications (which is why the questions I have been asking, have been answered with reference to Mark having the answer(s))
Maybe coming from Accordance you are not used to personal communication with customers - as a long time Logos customer/supporter/promoter - I am used to the proactive communication from Logos Management with past leadership.
My bad. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
All good!
Er..ah. @Bradley Grainger (Logos) is closer to a lead programmer than @Mark Barnes (Logos) who was announced as "Product Manager of Bible Study Tools and will oversee the desktop, web, and mobile applications for Logos and Verbum." @Phil Gons (Logos) had previously held that role, IIRC.
Yes, thanks for clarifying that.
Come on Frank, by editing your post you are denying those who like to "cover" from the enjoyment of doing it, as well as those who like to criticise it .🤣
If I wasn't so invested - it wouldn't irritate me as much… I am really concerned about the direction of some things, and have turned down invites to "present/promote" the product due to my concerns…. Yet… Nothing! Then I happen to check my cart and notice the birthday coupon and promo code they sent me via email and mail are no longer valid - so the price just increased $40 - (how does the birthday code expire on the first day of the month that your birthday is in - LOL)
9 months and counting, not a single email from the one person that I am consistently told has the insight to my questions/concerns, charging for Feature Parity now, reading posts from the Subscribers - well at times with many of the "Bug Reports" - I wonder if the Subscription is not as least partially a paid Beta….
