Turning off Beta channel

I've thought about participating in beta testing (by turning on the beta update channel in Logos 4), but would like to know there is a way to turn off beta updates and let the stable releases "catch up" and stay with them if I so desire. what is the command to turn off beta updates? So for asking such a foolish question, but I haven't found the answer anywhere else.

Hi Josh,

I have done this, you just need to know that you need to stay with the beta until it goes stable, then change the channel. You cannot go back to a stable release once you start down the beta path until that beta goes gold. Hope this answers your questions.

To clarify the previous responses, be aware of the following:-

4.1 SR-3 --> Beta channel --> 4.2 Beta 1 ---> 4.2 Beta 2 ---> Stable channel

Changing to Beta channel allowed the beta versions to be downloaded but changing to Stable channel only prevents further beta downloads ie. you cannot "catch up" to the next stable release of 4.1**; you are stuck with 4.2 Beta 2 until 4.2 is released on the stable channel. This is why it is recommended to keep your stable installation (4.1) and install the beta (4.2) into another user account on your computer.

** if you want to go back to 4.1 you must first uninstall 4.2 beta!
