Screen flickers when redrawing while I'm scrolling

Not sure what's causing this. Whenever I scroll my Bible--it doesn't happen with other resources--the screen struggles to refresh fast enough. It flickers.

I have a quad core machine with several gbs of ram. I have tried closing all programs, but it still does it. Has anyone seen anything like this? I'm using 4.1 SR-3.

How are you scrolling? PgUP/pGdown?  Arrow Keys?  Scroll wheel on mouse?  Center click scroll mouse?  Trackpad stroke?

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

    Thomas,

any method I use to move up or down (pg up, arrow keys on keyboard, mouse wheel). But if I use the up or down arrows on the scroll bar to the right of the page, it doesn't flicker.

I'm not sure why it would affect your Bibles but not other resources, but the only time I saw jerky movement or anything like flickering was before I upgraded my video card on my desktop.

Can you tell me about your video card?  Is it onboard or addin?  How much Ram?  Which GPU?
