Sorting at root level of library list v38.12
If I open my library i'm presented with sub folders from the root (Type, Factbook etc)
If I drill down into Type the sub folders are not in alphabetical order . In fact none of the sub folders from root are (e.g. Type, Language, Series, Author etc)
I cant find a parameter to adjust in settings. Is it possible to do?
TIA

I'm afraid we have no control over this order.
Personally, I'm not sure I would like alphabetic but I admit the current order doesn't seem very logical.

As an expro software developer + designer I'd say some configurable options should be available . Not to be rude but Its not difficult to sort a result set alphabetically, better still include some options in the user settings to allow personal choice

You're not rude. They just don't like alpha-sorts. Better to make a million users each squint thru a count-sorted (or often just random) list. Logos.com is just as bad. Ease of use isn't their thing.

Library Filter sort order is count descending. Library option is sorting by Type for alphabetical sort:

So I can sort in the results table by clicking the column heading, but Im talking about the root level which is fixed to count ascending (text in blue in your picture)
Is there an option anywhere to change that sort order?

There is no way to change the sort order of anything in the Filter panel. We can select items from the panel. We can close the panel. We can open the panel. That is all. Alphabetic sorting is done at the column level in the library.
