The same thing happens in a Bible search, when you have clicked on the Analysis button. If you hover over a verse reference in the list of search results, the tooltip containing the verse disappears after a very short while (in contrast to other tooltips that persist as long as the cursor stays stationary). This rapid disappearance is unique to the Mac version.
